Adventurer’s Guild · September 9, 2026

Guild experience and cross-domain admin access

Guild members now have a richer landing page, clearer starting routes, and reliable administrator access across both New Rome domains.

Details

The Guild landing page now explains its RPG identity, Boscombe starting parcel, free Marketplace HUD, and Trident Harbor social hub. Get Started Here opens the Guild Marketplace, Main Guild Hub opens the Boscombe Guild parcel, Report opens the New Rome Community Intake form with Adventurer’s Guild and Report selected, and Second Life locations opens the regular locations page filtered to Guild destinations. Administrator session cookies are explicitly scoped to .newromegaming.com so authenticated administrators remain recognized on guild.newromegaming.com.

Guild menu, post routing, and member branch update

Guild navigation now links directly to the dedicated Guild site and regular members are routed to the Guild member portal for Guild content.

Details

The main Adventurer’s Guild menu now provides Access the Guild, the normal New Rome Changelog, and Quests through the Guild member profile. Adventurer’s Guild publication links resolve to guild.newromegaming.com. The regular New Rome member area no longer duplicates the Guild library and Help cards; its Guild branch opens the dedicated Guild member side. Guild branding and the main-site banner now use the title New Rome - Adventurer’s Guild.

The dedicated Adventurer’s Guild site now uses Guild-only navigation and clearly routes back to New Rome where appropriate.

Details

The Guild top navigation now contains only Guild-relevant links, the brand link returns to newromegaming.com, and the subtitle identifies Adventurer’s Guild. The Join Adventurer’s Guild button opens the Guild About page. Guild footer links for Community Intake, Change Log, and administration return to the regular New Rome site. The Guild homepage now focuses on announcements and the Enter Member Profile action. The main New Rome homepage banner is centered and includes an Access the Guild button.

Membership administration, kiosk controls, and PDF library update

Membership administration now has clearer rosters and account access, kiosks can be permanently removed, the Change Log editor opens on demand, and PDF documents have their own organized library.

Details

Administrator accounts are linked to their Second Life member profiles. A signed-in administrator can open the member side directly; .web remains a membership sign-in and does not grant administrator-console access.

Member rosters are separate from administrator accounts and can be opened by Legio Imperatus, Adventurer’s Guild, or Opus Hub membership type. Multiple membership kiosks are shown side by side, and the Owner can permanently delete a kiosk credential.

The Change Log creation form stays closed until its button is selected. Legio rank choices show the first four ranks vertically, followed by the remaining ranks in a spaced horizontal layout.

PDF guides, forms, policies, lore, and reference documents now use a dedicated library separate from pages, posts, Help articles, and other content libraries. Website-managed HUD release and delivery records have been removed; HUD updates remain entirely in world.

Legio rank promotion, sub-titles, and member moderator powers

Legio titles can now advance from trusted kiosk and HUD reports, and selected ranks or sub-titles can receive narrowly scoped member powers.

Details

The recognized Legio hierarchy runs from [E1] Roman Legius through [O5] Roman Emperor; [EMP] is treated as [O5]. A kiosk touch or paired HUD reports the avatar’s active Legio group title. The website accepts a recognized higher title and never applies an equal, lower, unknown, or wrong-group title. Only the Owner can manually change membership titles. Each membership retains its own rank.

Legio profiles can carry Roman Archivist, Roman Archmagos, Roman Datapriest, and Roman Mechanicus sub-titles. Authorized administrators assign sub-titles in a separate Legio administration page. Full Administrators and the Owner configure which exact ranks and sub-title roles receive roster or Legio announcement powers. Member moderators remain in the Members area; they do not receive administrator-console access and cannot delete Owner-locked posts.

Membership kiosk and HUD credentials now have a clearly labeled Owner-only administration page. The Change Log can be filtered by type and start/end dates. Member HUD 1.1.0 reports changed active Legio titles during attachment/reset version checks and .web requests.

Members area, Help guides, branch pages, and administrator controls

New Rome now supports passwordless member access, group-specific pages and posts, illustrated Help articles, and clearer administrator controls.

Details

Members can register through their group kiosk and use .web on the Member HUD to open their profile and the Legio Imperatus, Adventurer’s Guild, or Opus Hub sections assigned to them. One avatar profile can hold multiple memberships. Member access uses single-use links instead of website passwords.

Pages and posts can be public, available to any active member, or limited to one membership. The Owner can manage member access, and selected administrators can create profiles, edit profile details, or manage memberships.

A new Help page organizes illustrated articles under Adventurer’s Guild and New Rome. The Branches of New Rome page presents Legio Imperatus / SLMC, Adventurer’s Guild / Civilian RPG, Opus Hub / Retail, and Citizens / Non-SLMC in four editable columns with up to two links each.

Administrator powers are grouped into collapsible categories. Form notifications can be assigned by community and by Suggestion, Feedback, or Report. Post deletion is a separate delegated power, and the Owner can protect posts, managed pages, and Help articles from deletion.

The Member HUD checks for a new version on attachment or reset. Replacement HUDs are sent by an in-world update object; accept and wear the replacement to install it. Leaving or hiding the Members page ends its session, with short server-side expiry as a fallback.
